In 2014, a local icon found new life when the historic barn was moved to the Korner and transformed into a stunning event loft. That space quickly became a favorite for weddings, receptions, and celebrations of all kinds, offering a unique blend of rustic charm and flexibility. Guests are welcome to bring their own food or choose the caterer that best fits their vision, making each event truly personal. Our Story
Located in Sterling, Illinois, K’s Korner Bar and Banquet has been a cherished gathering place for the community since 1972. Proudly family-owned and operated by the Younger family for generations, the venue has built a long-standing reputation for hospitality, welcoming service, and strong community connections. What began as a neighborhood corner bar has grown into one of the area’s most unique and memorable event destinations while still maintaining the friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere that locals have loved for decades.
A major milestone in the venue’s history came in 2014 when a historic local barn was relocated to the property and transformed into a beautiful event loft.
